For those faced with memory loss, it can be a frightening experience. These individuals often feel like their world is turning upside down and their relationships are changing. These individuals and their families can feel powerless. The program’s staff can assess those areas where they do have some control and offer the appropriate interventions and support.

In addition to counseling services, the center’s staff provides support groups for these individuals and their families.

The staff works with each individual – and their family – to develop a plan that will help reduce some of the fears, confusion and stress often associated with the disease.
